The Vertimax represents a breakthrough in performance training that elevates explosive power development to new heights and translates directly to improved competitive performance. The Vertimax is designed to maximize explosive power and helps maximize an athlete's vertical jump, first-step quickness, and overall athleticism. By utilizing sports-specific motions on three axis, training on the Vertimax places the highest demand for synchronized motor unit recruitment and firing in the athlete's muscles. As a result, the human body adapts swiftly to more efficiently satisfy the training demands. Most importantly, the Vertimax addresses “Loading Neglect," or unbalanced loading, by eliminating the possibility of slack in the resistance bands during training at the bottom of a jump. Maintaining full resistance throughout an entire movement results in simultaneous loading of the drive/swing phase during acceleration, arms/legs while jumping, and adductor/abductor muscles during lateral movement.
